Flexible & Efficient Floor Layouts
Our system includes a comprehensive range of components and accessories for flexible and efficient floor designs, allowing HVAC systems, power supply, data cabling, and other services to be routed within the floor void.
Our Raised Access Ancillaries provide a complete flooring solution, including panels, pedestals, and accessories, facilitating future layout changes, easy maintenance access, and the installation of additional or upgraded services. Using the floor void for HVAC services instead of overhead can significantly reduce slab-to-slab heights in multi-floor buildings, enhancing overall space efficiency.
Pedestals
Adjustable-height pedestals, meeting BSEN and PSA specifications, with void heights from 40mm to 2000mm. They can be fixed using adhesive or mechanical methods. Locating lugs ensure correct panel seating, with an option for screw-fixing for added rigidity. Steel pedestals are electroplated and coated with an eco-friendly clear passivation.
Ramps and Steps
Steps or ramps can be manufactured to meet specified gradients or height changes for access or to facilitate height adjustments between adjacent floors. For additional raised access ancillaries, including glues and flooring protectors, contact the Supply Only Team. They can arrange delivery of all necessary supplies for your installation.
Electrical Outlets
Power supply for individual workstations can be routed to cable outlet grommets within designated access panels. They can be supplied fully assembled or factory-cut for on-site installation by the M&E contractor.
Stringers
Stringers can be attached to pedestals for additional lateral stability or when floor heights exceed 600mm. They enhance lateral stability and rigidity without affecting load-bearing performance.
Oversized / Bespoke Panels
Special sized panels can be supplied to order to minimise on-site cutting and facilitate panel fitting around perimeters.
Bridging Beams
Bridging beams provide continuous panel support and span obstructions that prevent pedestal positioning at panel corners.
Ventilation Panels
A range of ventilation panels for underfloor HVAC systems is available, including perforated or bar-grilled formats.
Cavity Barriers
Fire, acoustic, and air plenum barriers can be supplied for installation by others as needed.
