In the heart of London’s financial district, the prestigious 100 Bishopsgate development stands as a testament to modern architectural excellence and flexibility. This mixed-use commercial building, with its unique parallelogram footprint rising into a rectangle after the 6th floor, showcases the meticulous planning and execution of a Category A (Cat A) fit out. This project, undertaken by Bathgate Flooring, highlights the adaptability and quality of their PSA Steel Encapsulated raised floor panels, setting a new standard in commercial space readiness.

The Project – Cat A Fit Out London

The building features a Cat A fit out of 11,250 m² of PSA Steel Encapsulated raised floor panels, manufactured by Bathgate Flooring in their UK facility. These panels were installed throughout the building, ready for a final covering to be laid by the tenants. This system allows the building’s owners to retain maximum flexibility while waiting to know which tenants will occupy which areas. The final floor layout and coverings can then be easily adapted to meet the tenants’ specific needs.

Testimonials

“The tendering process was smoothly handled by Bathgate, who impressed at all stages of negotiation pre and post tender. They were up against Kingspan and we felt that Bathgate offered the best option in terms of time and money. It was a key decision for the project … and they (Bathgate Flooring) now have a track record with us and will no doubt continue a business relationship as part of our trusted supply chain. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bathgate on future projects.” – John Zeffertt, Senior Construction Manager, Multiplex Construction Europe Ltd.
