Achilles Building Confidence is a UK construction industry accreditation and risk management scheme.

To qualify for this scheme, we undergo an annual audit. This audit streamlines the procurement process and manages risk for the client. Validated businesses can access global and national opportunities as a result.

By using an Achilles-accredited business, you can reduce the burden of supplier vetting.

Supply Chain Sustainability School - Gold

The Supply Chain Sustainability School, launched in 2012 is a free learning platform for professionals in the built environment.  Gold membership indicates that we have demonstrated significant commitment to developing our sustainability knowledge.

Common Assessment Standard

The Common Assessment Standard is an accreditation designed to standardise the prequalification process, helping both clients and contractors improve supply chain efficiency, reduce supply chain risks, and find reliable business opportunities.

The Common Assessment Standard builds on the PAS 91 prequalification questionnaire, helping contractors achieve compliance and mitigate risks across 12 key areas of risk management.

Safe Contractor

SafeContractor connects contractors and companies who share the same values.

Through their online contractor management system, SafeContractor helps businesses select suppliers who have demonstrated their commitment to compliance. This is achieved via market-leading health and safety accreditation and SafePQQ verification, aligned with SSIP and PAS 91 requirements. By using a SafeContractor, you can be confident in a well-managed flooring project.

Constructionline Gold Members

Constructionline Gold Members have been validated, providing buyers with a pool of high-quality suppliers that they can confidently engage with.

Gold members complete an enhanced prequalification questionnaire that goes beyond PAS 91. Constructionline assesses credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence, and anti-bribery and corruption policies. Some of these policies form part of the Cabinet Office Selection Questionnaire (SQ), which the public sector is expected to comply with.

CHAS

CHAS is one of the founders of third-party accreditation. CHAS verifies our policies and procedures for:

SSIP

SSIP is committed to reducing health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible.

All assessments completed by our member schemes utilise the SSIP Core Criteria, which is aligned with the Government-backed construction pre-qualification document PAS 91, ensuring consistency within supply chain management.

FSC®

FSC® registered, meaning our products and supply chain have been audited and registered as FSC Standards. Bathgate Flooring uses sustainable, traceable timbers within our flooring panels and can provide FSC Certification on all FSC orders.

ISO 14001

Bathgate Flooring is accredited with ISO 14001, the International Environmental Management System standard. We work hard to ensure our manufacturing facility has minimal impact on the environment.
